I do not want to get into another arguement but it does not matter what you call the folder where FS2004 is installed the install disk looks for FS9.exe and unless you have the folder on a different drive other than your main hard drive it will find it no matter what you name the folder. You have to rename fs9exe or move it to a different drive then you can reinstall it.




Hagar you are correct you could do that for fs 2002 but it did not work for me once when I tried it. I had to reinstall FS2004 and moved the exe file out of the folder and put in the first disk and it still found the exe.file. You might try changing the type of file from exe to bak That might work but I am not sure if you change it back if it will work right or not.
