Well, the Lancair Legacy and the Christen eagle I have already and are two very good planes. Both of them very fast, but behave so differently one from the other in landing that are hardly comparable. The Legacy wants to be landed fast and furious, not a STOL that plane. The Christen you can land on a dime. With the right training and some headwind it suffices the width of a runway (I was able to make it land successfully on a helipad once, and with only something like a 8 knots headwind)
Suggested, if you take the Christen Eagle, is to download and install the 300hp modification, for near vertical angle of attacks and carrier-like takeoffs. Great plane for aerobatics.
