I am embarking on a uk wide tour of the coast in the lake renegade (expect shots soon) but i have hit a glitch. It has no access to a gps gauge. I was wondering how easy it is to add one to the plane i already have. I need the gps thingy to see my FP inflight for Nav purposes. Cheers
i am doing this for Fs2004, not sure how the assumption of fsx crept in. :-/ :-/

Change the last line to:
gauge25=fs9gps!gps_500, 0,0, 150, 250
That should put the gauge in the upper left corner to start, but it will ALWAYS be
present in the display, which is probably not what you want.
Instead, remove that statement and just use the Window callup using Shift+2.
( that's hlding the shift keep and htiing the "2" key...that should toggle the GPS window
just as hitting "Shift+1" toggles the radio window.

position=8
BACKGROUND_COLOR=16,16,16
VISIBLE=1
ident=GPS_PANEL
gauge00=gps!gps,0,0,150,250
Again, I think this line wants to be:
gauge0=fs9gps!gps_500, 0, 0, 150, 250
Also, "VISIBLE=0" instead of "1" will let you toggle the window and
it won't automatically be present at the start.
SNIPSorry its so long, but i felt it would be more productive to post it all. Cheers
