Plane below runway

Plane below runway

Postby beaver135 » Tue Mar 05, 2019 8:09 am

With my P3D V4 , the elevation of my plane relative to the surface of the runway is perfectly level at all US Airports that I've used except at KSEA.
At KSEA, my plane appears to be about 30 feet below the runway surface.
How do I correct this situation? Thanks Ron

Hi and welcome.

Sorry for the late reply. You may have already resolved this but ....

I use p3d4.3 and all looks ok for me in the default KSEA. Could be that you are using v4.4 and/or you have additional scenery or terrain added? Is it every aircraft? If the [contact points] in the aircraft.cfg are wrong the plane will not sit correctly.

Usually is the half the weels below the runway.
That is the most common problem for me.

You need to edit the aircraft.cfg file [contact points]

Make a copy of the aircraft.cfg

4th entry on 1st 3 lines is usually a cure.

Lower it and the plane raises and visa versa.

Little changes and you have the backup if you mess it up (or download the file again)
