That's gonna be expensive...

My T-28 tour of the U.S. hit a snag while landing in KPDK today.  So how long will that take the simulated A&P mechanics to fix  ;D

I think that is an ass-landing in the most literal sense ;D

Hmmm...Maybe they need to use better Asphalt on the runway?

That's hilarious !!

More like a certain someone (me) needs to learn to take a little more care when landing his warbird.

This is a really nice freeware aircraft.  Even has a "black out" effect when you start to load up on the G's.

It just looks like the landing gear is sinking into the runway (like the collision detection failed)  Is that what happened?

I'm not sure what happened to be honest.  It does look as though it just sunk into the concrete.

Not again...this one wasn't my fault...the gear had a malfunction.

Still this A/C tends to "sink" into the ground rather easily.  ;D

I guess this adds a whole new dimension to the term "grounded" ;D

I don't know, it looks fine to me. I spent half my Navy career photographing T-28s in just the same post landing condition.  I think it's part of the design to list to Starboard like that so it's easier for the crew to depart.

And from that last shot I emagend the following conversation...

Instructor "Boy that was a short runway..."
Student "Yea, and it's wide too."
