AZIMUT 68 plus (motoryacht)

Postby OriK » Wed May 26, 2004 2:24 am

Another creation for the "flightsim"  :) . I've ordered a program to make custom gauges for my star trek spacecraft. Until I get this prog I decided to build a 1.5 mio dollar yacht. I hope that all pilots in this forum also like a groundvehicle ;D.

Hehe. This is not a sceneryobject. You can select it and cruise around the world. With 30 kts it could take a
while ;D.

I still must configure the riding quality. Now the yacht is based on the cessna 208 caravan amphibian. And a VC is still missing too. The release will be soon.

Please a VC! Makes the experience even more realistic.
And a bit of wood on serveral parts of the yacht would make it look even better. ;)

Yes, I know. The textures are not final yet. From which position you want to drive this ship? There is an interiorcockpit and the flybridge. I prefer the exteriorview. Gives you an excellent view to the environment.

Almost too good for words! Fantastic work.

Drive it from the flying bridge, weather be damned. :)

Don't forget the "deck ornamentation". :) If I had a $1.5M yacht I would definetly have some deck ornamentation. :D

Awesome job Orik, but wood trim is currently "out". Your boat is too trendy for wood, which suits a more "classic" design.

The second last shot shows off the Blue-Grey trim well, that's what it needs to break up the big white areas.

May I suggest a very light Blue-Grey texture deck paint on the walkable deck space? Grippy but not abrasive to the skin.

I just love that 2 phase handrail!

Definitely the Flybridge, I'm getting the foldback - spray dodger/awning made up now!   8)

Oh, and 4 inch high density foam in those seat cushions please, vinyl one side and acrylic on the other......... and......

Ok, if you don't like wood trims I make a livery without it ;) . But this final version still has wood trims :) .
Just ignore the current livery. There will be available much more.
If you want your personal livery post suggestions for your own hull design. I will add it to the liverylist. But don't forget to specify your name for the stern :) .

Why not two models, one with the flying bridge and one with the interior bridge.

Anyway, that type of boat isn't really my thing. I think they look rather like trainers.

If you could make one of the classic motoryachts from the 20's and 30's though...

Ooh, and an E-Boat. One of the late war models, because those looked so fantastically cool. And a British MTB. One that looks like this... http://www.bmpt.org.uk/boats/MTB-331/index.htm

I personally think Exploder would rather an E-Boat over that one. As its mostly wood trim. ;D
