Bushplanes in the Cascades

Postby congo » Tue May 25, 2004 3:45 pm

Normally I don't look at mesh because the download size is a bit much on my dialup, or I just don't like the look of it, but this is really sweet! Got it here after seeing some screenshots posted. It's better than anything I've seen so far.

I was flying around in my "new" Cessna 195 when I started having anti-aliasing probs, so I started switching planes to sus things out.......

One thing led to another, and now I'm back after a format of my PC!

Anyway, this pond under the Beaver below, has a little gravel/sandbar running along the edge of the rocks, (well, it does if your terrain settings are maxed out!)

I managed to do my trickiest landing ever,

Those are breathtaking shots! Wow!

I've downloaded that mesh to, but i didn't fly there yet cause my geografical knowledge of the states is nearly unexcisting   :-[ ( basically NY right side up, LA left side down, that about covers it...)

Can anyone point me to a nice little airport next to those cascade mountains... Its in the Washington state, right?

The mesh is on the latest '04 scenery page here at simV.

To get there, Go to Concrete, in Washington State, or just hang a right from the default Seattle flight.

Great pics Congo! I spent many hours flying up and down the Cascades in a Cessna 170 just for the scenery, and these shots bring back a lot of memories.

One thing that I love about  FS is the ability to get outside the aircraft and look around.

Clear skies'
