Hangar Shots

Postby -Crossfire- » Thu Jan 27, 2011 10:12 pm

Hi everyone... I got back from a flight late one night and took a few shots in our main hangar.  The engineers were gone and the lights were off.

Inside were... DHC-6-200 Twin Otter, Saab 340B, 2x PA-31-350 Navajo Cheftains, 2x Bell 206 Jetrangers (in the back corner), DHC-2 Beaver, DHC-3 Otter (piston), and a Cessna 185 (on skis)

Hi Wade... ;)

Thanks for the shots...very nice... :)

Have you ever noticed walking through a hangar alone at night, the lights off, all the folks gone that all the aircraft there seem to be watching you.... ;D

If you look at one and say something out loud you had better stop at each aircraft and mutter a good word....or you may not make it out the door.... ;D

Good to see the old radial engine Otter...still King of the bush and it's companion the Queen of the bush, the radial engine Beaver.

Thanks for your PM and hope the hours pick up or perhaps a little swamping this season?

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

Might have to move a few planes...  ;D  I should take an outside shot for you, there's about 3 feet of snow, it's -25 C, and the lakes all have about 2 feet of ice..... so the Beaver won't be going anywhere until May...  ;D
