CF-18 visit to YVR

they where supposed to go this morning but the pilots cancelled so departure tommorow morning at the earliest

does anybody know what the pod is next to the drop tank on the right side???

Carriers would be so mush easier to land on if they would just stop turning!!!

It looks similar to the practice CVR7 rocket pod. This has around four rockets rather than the 18 or so. Just a cost thing to let pilots practice with the real thing without using the real thing

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

the one that I have the most photos of departed this morning, they where bostth supposed to go but the lesser seen one had a engine fire when he tried to start it up the fifth time (it wouldn't start)
