There should be something similar near every major airport receiving traffic from overseas. Good post. :)

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Speaking of messages under approaches.... reminds me of this one in Vancouver... although this is not a happy message.

It's about 2 miles east of YVR, under the approach to 26R.

There was a famous farm in a part of Wales used quite a lot for RAF low level flying. On the roof...

Back on topic, nice to see. :) Even as a member of a foreign nations armed forces, it's nice when US citizens feel the need to come up and shake your hand an say "thanks". I've had it happen a couple of times - last time waiting a lift (elevator?) in DC. :)

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

:)  Made me smile.  Homeland support does unbelievable things to our morale after a long tour overseas, as it would for any troop serving their country.  Thanks for posting this!
