some snaps from the last coupla weeks...

Quite a treat the other day when Aluminum Overcast flew right over the pattern on her way to Trenton.

Washed both gliders the other day... 94H's new skin has already gotten stained quite a bit, but the nose art is holding up very well. Very nice Aerostar on final for 25.

Also holding up very well, even without a cover (such as the glider has)... James A. returns from another long day at "the office", towing banners in one of "my" Bird Dogs.

Aloft in the 1-26 at about 4,000 AGL... very important to keep eyes peeled for passing traffic, even when corkscrewing in thermals. Can you spot it? Hint: it's not where you'd expect it, LOL!
There seemed to be quite a few that day, and quite low. I started turning away, at one point, from a bright spot in the distance that seemed to just be getting bigger,  only to find it was a reflection from a pond or buildng many miles away...  ::)

Sounds like a weed-whacker, flies like a bird: this ultralight flies just about every day. Looks like a lot of fun.

Getting out flying in a 1-26 can be a treat in itself Sean, but to see that Fort pass in plain sight and captured for us all.....nice day ! Thanks ........ 8-)

Cool shots Sean. :)

If God intended aircraft engines to have horizontally opposed engines, Pratt and Whitney would have made them that way.

Great shots Sean!!

That's pretty cool looking down at an airliner from a glider!!  So, if you were at 4000 then it looks like he was around 2000.  EWR approach?

I was going to go up to TTN yesterday afternoon to see "Aluminum Overcast" but couldn't get away from the store!!  :(
