Waddington 2010....#5

Postby EVVFCX » Tue Jul 06, 2010 6:37 am

Hi all,
hope you enjoy viewing these.
Not as clear as the others but using still photo function of a video camera, good for close brightly lit stuff, but not for fast stuff like... erm planes.

May the Mynd be with you.
So far my number of landings either passenger or pilot equal my number of takeoffs.

Nice perspective on the shots, shame the video camera could not deliver.
I saw the Turkish Stars at the Dutch Air Force display in Holland a couple of weeks ago. They were limited to a reduced display due to the weather. A good display, but what did you think of the Stars commentator? He was so OTT I though he would have his own personal orgasm in the commentary box :-?............"These men are not pilots, not birds, but glorious heroes of the skys" :-/

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

See, the Spitfire is faster than the Typhoon ;D ;D ;D
I've seen the Turkish Stars a few times at Kecskemet, they are MAD! Superb display team 8-)

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

I could agree about the spit, the Typhoon is clearer therefore it's slower  ;)

Good to see the two together.
Vulcan and lancaster were good 2 years ago.
