For hand held, well done

Get yourself a tripod and it makes all the difference. I took these shots during a summer storm. I basically aimed the camera at the storm and left the shutter open for around 20-30 seconds. Unfortunately I left the camera on 800 ASA so they came out rather grainy. You can go down to 100 ASA with lightning, it is after all somewhat brighter than a flash

The last shot was two separate strikes a few seconds apart, which is why the shot is a lot brighter.

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
