Yes it is real. mcminnville air and space museum (Evergreen aviation) Oregon. Water slides will start in 747 go thru roof in building. Great museum with Imax theater.R/c control field and soon a water park.

And yet the owner refuses to buy 747-400, but will fly the hell out of -200"s and make a water slide out of the other.

The Spruce Goose is in that area. I saw it as I drove down the road on one of my truckin' trips in Summer 2004...

I believe it's in that museum. I went there in 07 and they said they were expanding, didn't know it would be like that.

Thanks for the great pics!

Looks like things have changed since I was last there.

My avatar is a pic of my son looking down into the cockpit of the SR-71, parked under the right wing of the Spruce Goose. You cannot appreciate the scale of the thing 'till you see it, so go see it!

I am gonna have to go back and check out that water slide, looks cool.
