Couple more from Sunday

Postby Rifleman » Tue Nov 03, 2009 12:47 pm

When I left on Sunday morn, I had missed on one thing that caught up to me later on......the damn time switch !
I left an hour earlier than I thought and wondered all morning why the light looked just not quite right.........in any event, here are a few more shots from that day. Some had to be worked on, as this was my first attempt at shooting RAW and making HDR images........three 13MB images, merged and reduced down to under 150kb to get each one that I posted, except for the first two in the first upload - they were shot as single jpeg pics. All in all, I think the exercise was fruitful in learning for me. They do bring forth the scenes I had in my eye while driving through the mountains of Vancouver Island. I will endeavor to do better next time.......

Keep in mind, from the first image to the last, they were shot all along the shores of Buttle Lake over a distance of around 25-30 km

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
