(b) Go Shopping.

For me its a toss-up between; (b) or (c)... ;)...!

The London Olympics were announced 3 years before Beijing 2008, on 6th July 2005 - the day before some mis-informed individuals murdered over 50 people on London's public transport system. :'(

It seems like only last year when it happened  :(
I remember my friend think it was the French who did it because they didn't get the Olympics.

pa

Hey Chris!

The 2000 Games were in Sydney, 2004 in Athens.

The '96 Games should have been in Athens to celebrate the Modern Olympics' Centennial... But the IOC.. well whatever ;D

London 2012, Rio de Janeiro 2016... Beautiful road ahead!

:D

D'oh!!!

You're right, Andy!

Serves me right for reading off a chart from Wikipedia >:(
Darn it! I have an official Sydney 2000 Games poster nicely framed and hanging right in front of me too. Not to mention that I used their official logo on my first repaint.

And yes, the Games should have been held in Athens in '96 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Games.

Sorry i just worded it wrong i did ment to say this :)

Most people think the olympic games occur every 4 years. Actually, they happen every 2 years. It is only ever 4 years that the same type of olympics (winter or summer) happen.

So 2008 was Beijing, 2010 is Vancouver and 2012 is London

Unless it's in the southern hemisphere, then it's the opposite. Summer games... in the winter! :o
