Whale Watching

Postby glennlcasey » Mon Oct 05, 2009 9:07 am

While on my holiday i went on a whale watching cruise. Saw 3 humpback whales, of which two decided to frolic next to the boat for a good 45mins

This was as far out of the water as they got on this trip...but was still a great shot. not many people on the boat caught it

it was hey!!! Always amazing to watch. They're very tranquil, and graceful....apparently these two were quite large, full grown and it is very rare for them to be this playful as well, so yeah felt very privileged

I am not sure why, but the first one caught my attention. It reminds me that there are amazing creatures right under our feet, on land and at sea.
