The latest birds I took a trip on...

Had to be in the UK for business this week, flew in from Brussels to Birmingham using SN Brussels Airlines, wich gave me the oppertunity to be on board two new models to me...

Way up was the Avro RJ-100

I'm still pretty nervous when travelling by air ( stupid thing if you love planes really... lol), and the fact that this is a regional jet didn't help that, as smaller planes are more susceptible to turbulence. Yet I like the little bugger. Actually more spacious then I imagined, 3 rows on either side! Smooth ride, though there was a bit bouncing around. Don't understand why they call it a whisperjet though, seemed as loud as any other plane to me really. Lol.

Strange thing to see out of your window and see under the wing. Nice view on the engines and flaps, but still a weird view.

Way back was a surprice... The Airbus 319 awaiting us seemed a bit big for the hour flight. Brutal beast on take-off, the engines are a whole other level compared to the Avrojet. Brought me home in under an hour, while the avro took 1 hour 20 minutes. Loved the onboard screens telling the speed, hight and location of the plane. Can't believe how fast these machines travel really.

I was glad being on different planes other than the Boeing 737, MD-80 and Embraer 190 I've flown so far. Now I feel ready for the bigger machines... lol

Oh, BTW: Love British pubfood and British beer...

Hey mic. We had to leave immediately to Malvern. It was a company visit, so a tight schedule. Seems I've missed you, Craig and Stephen... Was even near Fozzer. I might have to hop over in the future, I'll keep you guys updated!
