Thanks for the interest. I think this might be too difficult as I wouldn't have got them right myself. Here's a few clues. Not sure if they will help.
When I said 'very rare' they are the only examples of their type in Britain.
#1 is not a Stearman. It was built in 1929 & recently imported. This was its second appearance at an event in this country.
#2 is not what it appears. It's British & not a true vintage type. RAFLeigh is almost correct.
#3 is French & this one was built in 1952. The designer originated from Russia.
#4 is an obscure US type. It was built in 1939. Not a Bellanca, Piper or Stinson.
#5 is another obscure US type built in 1939.
