Flying with Brett Part 1

Postby ShaneG_old » Sat Sep 19, 2009 1:59 pm

Brett & his friend flew in from Columbus, Ohio today to do a little meet & greet, and to take a quick peek around the Air Force museum. All the photos in all three parts were taken by my wife.

Two warriors from a formation team were preping as we arrived. This was the second one,

That's unusual. What type of formation team is it?

Not sure what this was, but it was pretty. 8-)

It's a Piper PA-23-250 Aztec. I recognised it without cheating but to confirm it pasted the registration into Google. ;) N8595B

I'm not sure, there were just the two, identical planes, and three men in uniforms. There were no special markings designating them as a team, other than the identical paint.

When we arrived someone had walked out of the FBO was talking about them to a friend, and we over heard him saying that's what they were.

The Warrior seems an odd choice for a formation team that's all. They usually use aerobatic types.

Maybe trainers for formation flying of some sort?

I see if I can dig anything up on them. ;)

Edit: Not them, but here is a Warrior formation team: http://www.airshowactionphotography.com ... 08_022.jpg
