These fliers know it- although they seemed to realize, just after I snapped this photo, that they were headed NW instead of south, and immediately veered left.

This L19 is probably happy it won't be in Alaska this winter...

Also sighted: a very rare Gyro-Cozy.

Turns out this truly rare Pazmany PL-2 is now a resident here... owner Jesse keeps it tied down in the new paved area in the NW corner. It took 13 years for two MIT engineers to build it from plans, and it looks great in its newish coat of Imron (although there are some developing "issues" where it was applied to fiberglass fairings- he's going to have that fixed soon).
