Lake Superior Sunset

Postby BigTruck » Wed Aug 19, 2009 2:44 am

Took two weeks off work and man has it been great!  Spent the first week in the upper peninsula of Michigan visiting my parents.  Took a sunset cruise on Lake Superior and I was not disappointed!!!

No editing done to these pics, just resized.  It was the perfect weather for a sunset on the big lake, high clouds were rolling in as the sun went down and the humidity was around 85%, creating a very red sun on the horizon.  And it didn't cost me a dime, got family in the Pictured Rocks cruise business...more on that later!

Thanks for the compliments everyone!  It was really a gorgeous night, nice and warm, nice breeze, just a great night to be on the lake.
