Durango & Silverton RR : Behind the Scenes

Managed to talk the employees into letting me into the machine shop and roundhouse around 11 at night (normally restricted to employees) for some pictures. All were taken on a 6-13 sec exposure. Really cool to see all the work that goes into these, hopefully the pictures do them justice. I changed the photos over to B&W, makes them look better, IMO.

2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
