Aweseome shots here.

Wierd Fact of the Day: Jellyfish are an animal that we barely understand. They have no brains, but they hunt and move around and eat like an intelligent creature.

8-)

Exactly why I've never understood them... :-?

If I was Ray Mears, pic 2 would be a 3 course meal

Great colours in all of them  :)

Thanks for the compliments everyone!  Indeed, jelly fish are strange.

I think they were swimming upside down like that because the light was coming from the bottom of the tank, fish right themselves towards the sun.  I did an experiment with my old aquarium once after reading that and put my light on the side of the tank in a dark room.  Sure enough in a matter of a day the fish were swimming sideways.

Monterey Bay is a pretty nice area, I plan to go to Salinas for the Blue Angel show, if I can talk the missus into giving me permission.  :P

Compression does wonders to a beautiful shot, it's sort of accepted here at SimV

And cutting in front of you and bumping into you as you were trying to take a pic, pushing you away from the glass...I might have bumped* a few into the wall after they ran into me while trying to take a shot after waiting 25 minutes to get up to the exhibit...I'm not sure  ;D

*hip-checked...same thing
