wow, RPG cages on those little things? The insurgents are such a bad aim with their RPG's, it isn't even funny. They barely clipped the buffalo, and just missed my Cougar. I have a hard time believing they could hit one of those from any distance...lmao.... ;D

My first tour, we ran everywhere in Fallujah in M113s. We were on the cloverleaf, and two RPGs were shot at my squad's track, one flew off in a spiral, and the other fell short.

Another day one was shot at a 916 truck, it spriraled in, skidded on the ground and then detonated, popping a tire.

Part of it is the bad aim and lack of training. Part of it is the fact that they will pick up and use ordanance that has been laying in the sand, under the sun, for a couple years.

On the other hand, I have seen what a good shot will do to a *ss end of a 113 also. It went clear through to the engine compartment up front. Was not so good for the guys in it either. >:(

Somedays they really p***ed me off.

In the first picture, behind the CH-46 are three lakes but they are hidden by the mountains.  That was out water.  That and the countless mountain streams/rivers (had to cross several of them, that water was beyond cold!!)
