this baby fawn was just rescued the morning before we arrived...never in my wildest dreams would i think i could do this....her name is "Lady"

thanks for the compliments...."Lady" was very sweet..she is only a few days old in these pics...unfortunately its mother abandoned the fawn.

Are you sure it was really abandoned?  Doe's will leave them hidden and their best protection is staying still and the fact that they have no scent.  As soon as anyone/thing touches them and leaves their scent on them, then they are abandoned.  Do you plan on rasing it?  Most states have certified individuals who know how to do that.  If you don't know how I suggest contacting your state DNR for references.

First, let me say that I am firemonte's wife and that I am the one that he has pictures of here and there.

Lady, my cousin's deer that she helped rescue, was being watched for a few days by another lady who deals with the wildlife program in their area.
