Blurriness adds drama!

Sure, if done right, and intentionally... ;D

I always had a hard time with point & shoot cameras not being able to focus very well, especially with moving aircraft.

Looking at the spec of this camera it's a bit more than a simple point & shoot. It has similar features to the Canon DSLR cameras. http://www.dcresource.com/reviews/canon/powershot_sx10-review/

Well this is the camera in using http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6830120282

do you guys have any tips on the focusing problem? :-?

As Omag says, you need to study the manual & take a little time setting it up properly. It should be capable of excellent results. First of all set the image size. This will depend on the size of your memory card but I always use the biggest size for highest quality.

Which mode were you using for these shots? The Sports mode might be the best of the auto presets for moving subjects but it will probably freeze the props. For prop aircraft I suggest trying the Tv mode for shutter priority. Set it at 1/320 sec to start with. The camera will do the rest.

Now for the settings menu. Try the Servo AF setting on Continous AF mode. (Note that this will use more battery than single shot.) Set the IS mode on Panning which is the same as Mode 2 on Canon IS lenses. Make sure Digital Zoom is OFF.

This should give you a good start. You will need to practice & experiment with the settings to find which is best for you & the camera.
