The Liberty Belle @ Felts Field (KSFF) - Part 2

Postby BFMF » Sun May 10, 2009 2:23 am

I saw a .50 cal, and I naturally couldn't help myself.... ;D 8-)

A couple closer photos of the nose art.... ;)

Don't know what he was doing, but he kept circling the field...

Image

Off into the wild blue yonder.... 8-)

When I saw him starting to take off, I thought, "No way, it can't be what I think it is...!". Sure enough, I looked online, and it appears to be the only airworthy Boeing 40C....! :o

Image

And last but not least, one for all you cigar tube lovers.... :P

I know, it is not too sharp, but this is the best I could do at 135mm, and the photo cropped.

Hope you all enjoyed them. This was my first time out photographing aircraft with my new camera. Comments, hints, and suggestions are most welcome.... 8-)

New camera is working out for you just fine Andrew,....it captures lots of info which can be extracted with a little help....I played a bit but didn't want to post it here in your thread. With the original full size image, more can be done.....
How's the comfort on the bike coming along ?.....we've had a few nice days that you may have been able to get out riding now .......

Ride safe... 8-)

Good show Andrew...wonderful shots.   :)

Did you get any more interior shots of the B17 that you could post by chance?

Just a thought but I would send that first shot to Pete with an application for a moderators position.   ;D

Love that sign..."Load points outboard".    ;D

Thanks Doug,

I got a few more interior photos, but not as many as i should have.

I have much more scary photos of me then that one...  ;)

I didn't even notice that sign, but somehow, i'm just not surprised.... ;D

wow, how did you do that? I haven't mastered the digital editing yet.

We had a couple weeks of crummy weather, but it has slowly been improving again, so i'm starting to get out and ride some more. Its going good, and i'm getting a lot more confidence in riding
