Finished the bike (MTB I was building up)

Postby TSC. » Wed Mar 04, 2009 3:54 pm

Well, finished the Mongoose Amplifier I was building, had the last few bits done at the bike shop, new bottom bracket, brake hoses trimmed & chainset swapped over from my old bike.

So here's the finished article, just got to hit the trails now:

That looks like some seriously nice trail bike. Hydraulic brakes i assume.  Nice one

Beautiful... it looks nice and light.
But I agree, it's way too clean... needs some mud, dust, and bits of leaves (and skin). ;D

Very nice looking bike.  [smiley=thumbsup.gif] However, I would've added streamers and a tinkle bell, ala Pee Wee. ;D

LOL Doug, don't worry, I just left them off because I've misplaced my fish-eye camera lense.  ;)

Fozz, I'd probably have a heart attack if it did have a Ducatti engine!

& yes, they are hydraulic brakes, Maguras as identified by Meck, only difference is that theses ones are the 20th anniversary limited edition jobbies (800 sets made).

Still haven't had the chance to hit the trails yet, today is my first day off & I'm sat here waiting for a surveyor to turn up.  ::)
