But the date on the card is definitely a dead give away. But I suspect the card may be older.

Aren't those B-17C's? I believe Both C and D versions were stationed at MacDill Army Air Base from 1941 and B-17 Aircrew training ended at MacDill Army Air Base in May 1944.

So this card must have been on sale at the time......lmao

BTW....Date on card - 6/7/1944 - The day before - Invasion of Normandy, June 6, 1944.....this person seemed awful calm about it.
