My New Camera Canon 30D

I just bought the Canon 30D with the Quantaray autofocus 18-200mm F3.5-6.3 lens.

I will buy a macro lens in the future as my goal for now is to take macro shots.

Any thoughts?

Congrats on the camera, should be a joy to use! But I've never heared of Quantaray lenses...

Personally I'd go for a Canon, Sigma or Tamron macrolens later on, they almost all get very good reviews...

Don't forget to share some of your shots with us...  ;)

Macro shooting always turns out some very interesting shots, looking forward to seeing what you can come up with!!!  Really brings out the artistic sector of photography

FSX Acceleration settings on max, no twitches or glitches.

So I've heard of macro lens but don't really know what they do.  Can one of you geniuses splain it to me?
