Acting like a Kid

Postby Willit Run » Mon Oct 06, 2008 10:59 am

After we landed on my trip back to PHL from MCO I made sure I was the last passenger leaving the aircraft.

Nice end to a trip 8-)

Just one question, but do you happen to know what the"box" above your head is. I spanner on these aircraft and that I do not recognise it...........is it maybe something to do with a HUD projector??

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Thanks Guys,

That seat sure did feel good!!  ;)

Matt, you are correct that it is a H.U.D. diplay.  That box is the projector and if you look up in front of me you see the display screen pushed up.  That was one of the questions I ask the Captain about. Below is a link to a Boeing news article about it.

Nice one Cory. Not bad shots for a couple of pilots. :D

Did they ask you what you want to be when you grow up?

Next time I'm one a commercial flight I'll be sure to drag me feet exiting the airplane, and ask to pop in the office ;). I didn't know they let people do that :o.
