Tuesday afternoon at 47N-part 3

Patsy had the 7AC out, so after I took a couple of snaps and commented on how much I missed old 70E, he offered me a ride. ;D

I didn't bring my headset, so he did all the flying (a bit hard to communicate in flight with the door off, etc). No biggie- it was just great to get up in a Champ again.

Beautiful weather, low and slow, no door... perfect for sightseeing. Who can guess what this is?

A reflection-free view through the left window of 47N...

A bit of a slip on final for 25.

Next: end of a good day

I would love to guess intelligently but it just looks like a big pile of dirt or gravel?  Love the pictures, heck of a view with no door on there

Great shots in all you're post, Sean!!

I would guess top soil but, it looks like concrete drainage pieces and stone piles around it so I'm not sure!!
