Postby masmith » Sat Aug 23, 2008 3:09 pm

Went flying today with my father from Lyneham, down to Bembridge then onto Shoreham and then back to Lyneham, didn't take many pics at Bembridge so here are the ones from Shoreham (took some photos as well over the isle of white etc if you want to see them I will post)...Pt1.

Enjoy ;) (Great weather btw)

Very nice. I was at Shoreham this morning. Which aircraft were you in? I might have caught you landing.

Also ive been reading, that the tents and equipment in WW2 was made from a waterproof fabric called "duck cotton", and they had tape to repair tears as stitching would off not been water proof.

So the idea is that heavy duty tape decame known as Duck Tape.  :)

Very nice Stampe... I'm goign trough my Stampe Fly-in folder of this year, but I don't think this one visited Antwerp.

Spiffy looking birds, those twinstars... to bad the body has allready suffered some damage...

I spent the afternoon on Beachy Head. I suspect I saw some of those aircraft buzzing about (a Stampe, a couple of Cirruses - including one idiotic one, who thought it would be fun to dive towards the cliff face and zoom climb over it)
