1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

It looks like there is two seats in there, pilot in the back and part of a headrest in the front...? :-?

Interflug was an airline. It's actually a PZL-106AR Kruk. Apparently the only one left in airworthy condition. Not seen one before. Nice catch.

It looks like there is two seats in there, pilot in the back and part of a headrest in the front...?

The windscreen appears to be a mod. It's possible another seat has been added.

PS. More than one. It's a 3-seater. :o http://www.airliners.net/photo/Interflug-(Gehling-Flugtechnik)/PZL-Okecie-PZL-106AR-2M-Kruk/1275820/L/

Yes, three seats is correct. If the commentator is to be believed, it is the only one moded to three seats and the only Kruk still flying in Europe. It is still used in Brazil, Argentine and Ecuador in agricultural spraying.
I wonder if that extra seat makes a difference to the normal stall speed......59Kts :-?

Probably not. According to this it was originally designed with a jump seat behind the pilot for a mechanic.  "Behind the engine is a 1300-litre container for 1050 kg of chemicals, with interchangable equipment sets for spraying, cropdusting or fire-fighting. The container might be replaced with an additional cab for an instructor for pilot training."

Sorry, badly worded, it is the only one with three seats still flying and the only one in Europe still flying (according to the commentator).

Matt

PS. A couple of interesting pictures of said aircraft. An engine change in field....well in a field actually and a hot refertilisering (if such a word exists ;D)
Kruk

Sorry. I was referring to the stalling speed. 1050 kg is over 1 ton.

Sad to see that there are only two Pics of the YAK-9.
The Sound of this Warbird during the flybys was tremendous!
