Aluminum Overcast Part 1

Postby Brando14100 » Thu Aug 14, 2008 1:03 pm

The Aluminum Overcast B-17 visited my local airport, so I made sure I was going to see it. These are my first shots so go easy on me. Yes I realize I forgot to turn the dates off. Sorry some of the images are different sizes, but that is how I got better quality in resizing. Here we go:

Starting with some exterior shots. I thought I had the whole wingspan, but I guess not. There was such a glare on the camera screen it was hard to see.

The small hatch and nose art.

I know I cut the plane in half, but I wanted a shot of the tail.

This is the only shot of the nose that didn't have a huge glare on the glass.

This turned out nice.

This may be the best exterior shot. They were doing some kind of work on the engine. It was opened up the whole time I was there.

Comments welcome, but go easy on me. These are my first shots. More to come from inside.

8-)

A respectable walkaround... she sure is an excellent photo subject.
