Warbird frenzy at EBUL II

And the take-offs went on...

B-25 heading back for Holland... always a pleasure to see this one...

Pink Lady on route to Paris... I was so happy to see this one in real life. 4 radials sure beat the heck out of anything! Bye baby!

Nord 1101 Nordalpha - a strange, yet wonderful sounding tactical French bird...

And the allwayspresent T-6 Texan...

Not the most participants in one event, but quality all the way...

There were also 2 RAF Tuscano's and a Hawk, one SIAI Marchetti and an F16, but they leave tomorrow...

Cheers,

Omag

Indeed. Make the most of it. The commentator at Duxford Legends said that Pink Lady is being retired next year. This might be the last time you see it in the air.

I've heared that rumour too. I was so happy the weather cleared up in th afternoon. Due to heavy winds, they couldn't take of with tailwind at the scheduled time, so they had to wait until the event ended. Static display on a part of the runway, so they don't take chances in Ursel.

Once the public was clear, they started these beauties up, and boy, what a joy it was...

I would have been so disappointed not seeing the Pink Lady flying, as she was only 10 km from my home... Just seeing her static isn't the same...
