Whale Watching in Cape Cod!

Postby Fly2e » Fri Aug 08, 2008 10:56 am

Well I just returned from a 10 day getaway! My in-laws live on the water in Cape Cod Massachusetts.
My wife and 2 daughters go there every summer!
I will post some more picks of our vacation later but for now,
say hello to some whales!

Very nice Dave  8-)

I saw some dolphins in Cardigan Bay last week......I would have got some pics but the boat we were in was not the dryest and most stable platform for photography :P

Very nice crisp shots!

I remember when I was a kid, my mom took me on a whale watching cruise out of the Puget Sound, off of one of the islands. I remember standing in the very front of the ship, with Porpoises swiming next to me only a few feet away 8-)

We also saw a few Orca Whales, and other sea creatures ;)

Beautiful pictures, nice and crisp!  What kind of whales are those?  I went whale watching off of San Diego a few years ago and it was terrific, I think they were grey whales, one of the males kept shooting up out of the water and falling backwards (breaching I think they call it, amazing site to see!)  unfortunately this was before I got into photography so I only captured a few rinky dink pictures with a disposable

Nice. Looks like fun. Last time my family was there, I tried to get them to go whale watching, but no one wanted to, and my mom was paranoid about the boat sinking.

Wow, amazing shots! Glad to see these giants pop their head up from time to time, or people would think wales only exist out of a tail...  ;D

Some nice light and weather to make these shots Dave!
