My Pup Post

Postby BigTruck » Sat Aug 02, 2008 12:29 am

My puppy Stevie Knicks (she's a female miniature dachshund, 5 months old now)  She's a good girl but has a lot of training to do, dachshunds are very difficult to train and very stubborn, but they have so much personality and are very loyal and loving dogs.

Thanks Sean!  They are one of the very few small dog breeds I like as well, mainly because they are pure-bred hunters (Badger hunters...should earn some fans around here because of that  ;D )   My wife wanted small so we agreed on the doxie (she's my 4th dachshund, so I had a little experience with them, making the decision a bit easier)

Yeah she thinks she's human.  And surprisingly she doesnt lay around a lot, she's very active, but as soon as those rays of sun come through the sliding door, it's basking time for all the pets!!  As seen here...
