Your system naked... try 2

Postby Ivan » Sun Jul 27, 2008 11:26 am

Could not find the old thread so a new one...
Mission is simple: take a picture of your system(s) with the covers off

OK My turn
Image
3 towers good for something between 1800 and 2000W of PSU power

Next pictures are from those systems, starting at the left
Image
Quadcore power, first Intel based system in years for me (last one was a P3 600Mhz)
This one runs Vista Ultimate 64 bit and is the only one that doesnt contain recycled parts

Image
AMD Dualcore. Main components (excluding the processor) are from my old gaming machine. Has been fitted with a new set of harddisks and a new PSU a few months ago.
This one is used for business purposes (work email, software development) and runs XP Pro 32 bit. Its quite noisy, GPU fan isnt that good anymore.

Image
Last one... 90% new parts and the CPU from my old gaming machine. Runs 64Bit SUSE 10.2

Besides these i have 2 other machines that are either too messy to show or too hard to open

CM Stacker cases (both the STC and the 830s) have mesh sides and bottom intakes.

From left to right:
#1: has fan on the bottom 3 large slots, big 30cm side intake 'lawnmower' fan (black metal thing on the top of the 2nd picture), another fan on the top (you can see that one too) and a rear exhaust fan, mesh bottom, front and left side panel.

#2 and #3: fan on bottom 3 large slots, exhaust fan, open mesh on front, bottom and sides
