Went down again today, this time with my brother, weather was absoutely brillant, boiling hot and pretty much no clouds at all. Except this caused the pilots a few issues due to the excessive winds generated at the coast during warm weather, one of the guys in his little R22(of which there were many!) came over the tannoy to say when he turned base his airspeed indicator went from 40kts to 0kts in the blink of an eye.

Not a sight you see very often, a helicopter being pushed. It all arose because the helicopter dropped in a bit earlier than the marshaller expected him to, and he didn't want to risk any damage to an adjacent helicopter
The Local air ambulance dropped in for a bit, although not as long as epxected, the warm weather meant they were much more busy than even they had predicted.
The Seaking from 2 Squadron than my brother was so waiting to see come in. Dropped in right at the far end of the lawns, space was rather tight by then
Not something you want to do if your afraid of heights
