Our shift on-site was 1AM- 10AM... took this pano just before they turned off most of the lights for the night.
The client put us up in one of their beachside hotels the first day; too bad we were moved out of there- great view of the beach and an endless parade of banner-towing flihgts.
Didn't make it to the spotters' park near KMYR, but we were usually nearby... saw some Harriers one morning (no pics), and C-130s doing T&Gs were a common sight.
Between the night shift and the inevitable daytime phone calls/hardware-hunting expeditions, I was very tired all week. Must've got 10 hrs sleep total in the last three days. Couldn't even enjoy my surfing break..."Kawa... yaaawwwnnn... bunga..." :D
The service bay of the "Maximum RPM" ride, where we picked up our ladders every night:
One of several nifty vehicles on display in the park.
One nice benefit of this project: the park lies directly under the approach to 18 at KMYR ... there's a flurry of arrivalks early every morning.
One more part coming
