Still we managed to save a bit of the day by going to Overloon tank museum all be it a 200 km drive in the opposite direction. It was not the day I expected or the way I wanted to christen my nice new Nikon D60, but it was better than having a sharp stick inserted into a bodily orifice of your choice. The museum is very good. WW2 until present day, well 90's at least. Most of the tanks are still drivable too. If you are in the area for what ever reason, I would recommend it. This is part one, Tanks recovered after the Battle of Overloon. Compression has been quite hard on these pictures unfortunately.

. the MAC DC-3 did a low pas over the runway, the Fokker 4's came in in formation, and a ugly looking, very low 2 seater ancient jet came back. Also a oldie from france and a lot of VFR traffic.
