MAAM WWII'08: part 5-fighters, etc.

First I'd like to sneak in a dive-bomber... replica Aichi "Val".

NOT a replica... an awesome P-47...

The fighters zoomed fairly high along the other runway, where the viewing line was even farther back... sigh... but I got some good video of these passes. :)

Glamorous Gali: yes, she is.

But my fave fighter of the day is yet to come...
here's a sneak peek.

Next- part 6: Vintage CAP aircraft

Great shots in all of your threads on this airshow!

Didn't make it out there this year, but from my past experiences, it looks as if most of the usual crowd showed up, minus the spit and hurricane.

That "Val" is actually based at the airport I fly out of, so I see it sitting on the ramp quite a bit! (KCXY, Capital City) I think the original plane that the owner used as a starting point for the replica was a BT-13 Valiant, which is rare within itself!

Terrific pictures as always!  The last P51 shot does something for me, has a certain mood to it, not sure what it is though haha.

I think I've seen that Warhawk about four times in the last three weeks. :P

Good coverage, Sean.
