Reading the news about the French armed forces, you had a greater chance of the Bleriot (?) being in a more serviceable state than the Mirage  ;D

2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.

Just found out how Carlson manages the displays he does with his Bleriots...


50hp rotaries!


Old Warden's Bleriot XI only has a 24hp Anzani!

The Shuttleworth/Old Warden example used to turn (infact, it used to do full circuits), but it force landed in a cabbage patch (on the downwind leg) in the mid 70s (an aging 24hp is fairly marginal!), and has recently (for the last 30 odd years) been confined to straight lines! ;D
