Anybody seen Dorothy lately .....?

Postby Rifleman » Tue May 20, 2008 10:52 am

I can hear a song breaking out now..........

Last evening, I took a peek out the door and what a surprise I got.......with rain all day and no riding to be done (well, not without a huge cleanup) the sun started to punch through the narrow gap between the bottom of some cloud and the top of the mountain - low sun angle with lots of moisture in the air = MAGIC !

It was so close that I couldn't get it all in one frame.....

A little zoom, got me a bit closer.......

And a LOT of Zoom almost let me see the pot of gold ......!

1. Captain, if the problem is not entered into the technical logbook.........then the aircraft does not have a problem.
2. And, if you have time to write the fault on a napkin and attach to it to the yoke.........you have time to write it in the tech log....see point 1.
