
It's not very close to the action, but if planes are landing on 36 or taking off on 18 there's a lot of potential. I just think it's amazing that any city in the US now would encourage people to sit and watch or photograph the planes. Excellent.

At the SW corner of the field, there is a little park, with benches near the fence for comfortable viewing... and a mini-museum!! Some awesome warbirds on display there...
There had been Hercs doing crash-n-dashes on Rwy 18 for hours, as usual... and of course as soon as I sat down near the fence, there was a lull of about 1/2 hour.
But there was another interesting bird present...
My battery was low and the spares were in the hotel room, but I did get one decent snap when the C130 training flights resumed. I'll probably be back a little earlier tomorrow...
