After a long spell of quiet, the hawks came back :D

Stealth tornado......we were all stood around chatting, but thanks to craig and his sharp vision we just managed to catch this GR4 as it entered the valley....the perfect end to a perfect day :)

Wow mic, both threads are great. Love the Tonka head on and the Herc nose in your other thread.

I am seriously thinking of binning this years air display and taking a couple of days "Cadding"

Must be harder than it looks to get a good result there. Those little jets looks slippery and fast! Great shot on the Tornado... perfect angle!

I know about the mm thing... I once tried to squeez my 70-300 to 50 mm on an arriving 747... Sometimes you're just too close... or to slow...

I was going to let Craig post first, he had a play with a 70-200 L and 400mm L lens thanks to a generous chap who we met there, I want to see thos results first  ;)

I'll be honest my shots were pretty poor. Plus I've posted pleanty of hawks and hercs in the past. It was Mics trip so I'm happy to let him have the postings:)
