Probably a longshot, but I'm hoping someone might recognize this airport.

Pensacola?  Shootin from the hip here but lush green ground and naval aviation just screams pensacola to me

I checked out Pensacola's airport (regional & NAS) on Google Earth, and neither look like the airport in the photo.

I found out who owns the aircraft though, and sent them an email.

Based at New Smyrna Beach Airport in Florida...

...which that isn't sadly :)

Well..the owner doesn't know where the pilot was when the photo was taken, but he suspects north Florida.

I just spent about an hour on Google Earth scanning the Florida coastline looking for an airport that would match, but so far no luck.

Of course...it may not be in Florida at all.

Wow, I wish I had enough time to search for a website of a random aircraft picture from the six million or so websites that there are.........................admittedly, five million of those are sex related, so that narrowed it down a bit ;D ;D

Well done. Interesting looking airport. I wonder what the interesting concrete circle's origins are? I have my ideas, but it looks quite unique.

Apparently, the airport was originally a naval air station as far back as 1929.
