I like the floatplanes. We don't see many in my part of the world.

And a Harbour Air, either Super Otter or Turbo Beaver

It's a DHC-3 Turbine Otter. http://www.airliners.net/photo/Harbour-Air/De-Havilland-Canada/1035543/M/

Thanks for all the replies guys, I'll be going back out to the airport today probably and I'll get some more shots of some of the planes there. Next time we go over to Vancouver we'll take one of hte Beavers so I can get some good shots of those hotties then.

Thanks Reno...wonderful shots of the world's greatest float/wheel ski and amphibious utility and bush aircraft.   :)

I am sure you have heard of Viking Air out there, they are doing some wonderful modifications to both the DHC-2 Beaver and DHC-3 Otter Aircraft.
There are still a lot of Otter and Beaver aircraft here in Ontario and they are worth their weight in gold.   :)  I used to get a few of the fellas dropping in over the winter on wheel/skis just to help keep the strip in shape but alas they have gone on to fly larger aluminum spam cans for a few dollars more and a pension.   :(   ::)   :-X

If you happen to have a radial engined Otter drop by please take some shots and post them, then folks can see what a real aeroplane looks like.   ;D LMAO  oops did I type that???
Actually Reno, anytime you get something on floats or any flying boats they would all be wonderful to see.

Again thanks for the wonderful shots.   ;)   :)

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug
